Executive, Customer Insight & CRM (Data Analyst)

Job Summary:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing sales performance and customer data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves generating accurate and timely reports, utilizing tools like Power BI and Excel to create clear, visually appealing dashboards. The Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to align strategies and enhance customer engagement. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvement within data analysis workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis:

  • Data Collection and Cleansing: Collect and clean data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness, ensure data integrity and reliability for robust analysis.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data at various levels, including overall company, store performance, category growth and customer segments. Evaluate the impact of promotions and marketing campaigns on sales metrics.
  • Customer Segmentation Analysis: Conduct customer segmentation analysis to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to enhance customer engagement strategies.

2. Report Generation:

  • Timely Reporting: Generate accurate and timely reports on weekly and monthly sales performance. Ensure the delivery of comprehensive reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Presentation Skills: Present findings in a clear and concise manner to key stakeholders and management.

3. Tool Proficiency:

  • Utilize basic knowledge of Power BI and Excel (intermediate/ advance) to create visually appealing and informative dashboards.
  • Implement data visualization techniques to enhance report clarity.

4. Collaboration:

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, category buyers, and IT, to gather insights and align strategies. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data-driven decision-making.

5. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the data analysis workflow.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

6. Any other relevant tasks assigned by management as and when is needed

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Finance/Analyst or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year working experience as a Data Analyst or any position that related to data and business analytics with strong statistical background.
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office including strong command on MS Excel, proficiency in using Power BI would be an added advantage.
  • Presentation skill to present data to cross functional team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Fast learner, high responsibility, proven to work as a team and willingness to learn.
