Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Compliance Management: Provide strategic legal counsel, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support business operations in maintaining regulatory standards. Draft, review, and ensure the timely execution of legal documents and agreements to uphold compliance and safeguard organizational interests.
- Corporate Governance: Oversee board and committee meetings, prepare agendas, and manage communications for effective decision-making. Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Secretarial Support: Manage statutory filings, maintain corporate records, and ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable regulations. Assist with due diligence and corporate restructuring processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, legal advisors, and board members.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or ICSA qualification (or equivalent).
- Senior Manager – Legal & Company Secretary: Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate law, governance, and compliance, with strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
- Legal Executive: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a corporate legal environment, with skills in legal research, drafting, and risk management.
- Company Secretary Senior Executive: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate secretarial functions, with expertise in statutory compliance and governance practices.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
