Senior Executive / Executive, Payroll

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other emoluments.
  2. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including accurate calculation and timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
  3. Staff Movement: Process and maintain accurate records of all staff movements, including new hires, resignations, terminations, transfers, promotions, and changes in employee status.
  4. Time and Attendance Management: Oversee the administration of time attendance and leave tracking systems, ensuring accurate recording of employee work hours, leave entitlements, and absences.
  5. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage and review employee compensation and benefits plans, including medical claims, insurance coverage, and other employee benefits.
  6. HR Documentation: Prepare and issue HR-related letters, including confirmation letters, acceptance of resignation letters, transfer letters, and other employee correspondence.
  7. Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in payroll system implementations, upgrades, and testing. Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
  8. Handle complex payroll issues: discrepancies, and employee queries in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Any other related tasks assigned by management as and when is needed.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • A diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of solid payroll experience.
  • Experience with Rymnet HRIS is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a fast-moving or retail industry is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • A positive work attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
