Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other emoluments.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including accurate calculation and timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
- Staff Movement: Process and maintain accurate records of all staff movements, including new hires, resignations, terminations, transfers, promotions, and changes in employee status.
- Time and Attendance Management: Oversee the administration of time attendance and leave tracking systems, ensuring accurate recording of employee work hours, leave entitlements, and absences.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage and review employee compensation and benefits plans, including medical claims, insurance coverage, and other employee benefits.
- HR Documentation: Prepare and issue HR-related letters, including confirmation letters, acceptance of resignation letters, transfer letters, and other employee correspondence.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in payroll system implementations, upgrades, and testing. Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Handle complex payroll issues: discrepancies, and employee queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Any other related tasks assigned by management as and when is needed.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- A diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of solid payroll experience.
- Experience with Rymnet HRIS is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a fast-moving or retail industry is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
