Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and executing action plans for monthly price surveys and price lists. This role involves formulating strategies to improve sales, margins, and alignment with company direction through category reviews. The position also focuses on driving improvements in TTA, organizing regular business review meetings with suppliers, and preparing necessary reports to support meetings and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement action plans for the monthly Price Survey and Price List to ensure competitive pricing strategies are in place.
- Formulate and execute action plans for category reviews aimed at improving sales, margins, and alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
- Lead initiatives to improve TTA (Turnaround Time) within the category, ensuring efficient processes and operations.
- Coordinate and schedule monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly meetings with suppliers for business reviews, fostering strong supplier relationships and performance tracking.
- Prepare and ensure the timely submission of reports and data required for meetings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Any other related tasks assigned by management as and when is needed.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 6-7 years of leadership experience in grocery buying, category management, and demand planning in retail.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation and driving commercial results.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in analyzing market trends and financial metrics.
- Skilled in managing supplier relationships and leading diverse teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding environment.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environments.
- Proficiency in retail systems, SAP, PowerBI, and NielsenIQ is a plus.
