Memandangkan lebih ramai pelanggan kini lebih suka mengunjungi pasar raya bersaiz kecil, untuk mencari kemudahan, ia menjadi model perniagaan yang lebih sesuai.
Dengan harapan untuk memastikan perniagaan Segi Fresh berkembang sejajar dengan faedah kepada nelayan dan petani tempatan melalui inisiatif itu, mendapatkan bekalan terus daripada mereka tanpa orang tengah bagi membolehkan nelayan dan petani menjana pendapatan yang lebih baik.
Ini juga bertepatan dengan objektif Segi Fresh yang bukan sahaja mahu menyediakan hasil segar kepada pelanggannya tetapi juga mewujudkan peluang kepada masyarakat setempat dari segi pekerjaan dan pendapatan.
